Zurich Names Mullin to Risk Management Services Post
Zurich North America , has named Mary Anne Mullin as manager of risk management services for the Executive Assurance group, a newly designed position for the management liability line of products, including D&O, Fiduciary and Employment Practices. Mullin, previously counsel and claims manager for the Executive Assurance group at Zurich U.S., will be responsible for providing legal counsel to underwriters, including tracking trends and legal developments, new product initiatives and developing strategically designed risk management solutions for insureds.

Her previous experience as the Claims Manager allows her to understand the broader picture and enables her to develop risk management programs that meet insureds' needs," said Bruce Hayes, senior vice president of the Executive Assurance group at Zurich U.S. "In addition, this complete integration of services - claims, legal and risk management - provides a distinct advantage for our customers in the management liability marketplace."
Prior to joining Zurich U.S., Mullin was an assistant vice president for directors and officers claims at Continental Insurance Company. She started her career at Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold, an international law firm, where she specialized in the investigation and negotiation of executive risk claims and policy drafting on behalf of domestic and foreign insurers.
Mullin received her BA in Political Science from Douglas College at Rutgers University and her JD from Catholic University School of Law.
