W.R. Berkley Corporation Names Hancock And Linekin Vice Presidents

N/Aerkley Corporation has promoted Paul J. Hancock to vice president-corporate actuary and Edward F. Linekin to vice president-investments, effective immediately.

Hancock joined the company in 1997 as an assistant vice president. He comes to W.R. Berkley from Signet Star Reinsurance Company, a Berkley subsidiary, where he was vice president-corporate actuarial manager. A fellow of the <%=company%>, received a BA from the University of Chicago and a MS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Linekin joined Berkley Dean & Company, Inc., the company's investment advisory subsidiary in 1995. Previously, he was a portfolio manager for the Home Insurance Company and before that was employed by Chemical Bank in its Trust and Investment Division. A chartered financial analyst, he received a BA from the State University of New York at Cortland, and a MBA from Fordham University. He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, the Association for Investment Management and Research, and the Fixed Income Analysts Society.
