A property and casualty claims and risk management services provider has introduced illumin Beacon, a risk management information system designed for Internet business-to-business use. The system is the latest addition to the company's suite of Web-based management tools that provide corporate risk managers, insurers, self-insureds, wholesalers, brokers, and reinsurers with secure Internet access to claims and risk management data.

Customers can use the tool to download information that is updated daily and to create customized ad hoc reports, charts, and graphs for presentation and analysis. The system allows authorized users to review and compile data on individual claims for detailed analysis or multiple claims files for trend analysis, and to communicate directly with REM claims professionals.

The company also offers illumin Library for customers who do not need ad hoc reporting. This tool provides access claims and risk management information online.
