Twenty-Five Agents To Go To Super Bowl XXXIII With Progressive
Just in time for the holidays, 25 independent insurance agents from across the United States have learned they will be going to Super Bowl XXXIII in Miami, courtesy of Progressive.
Progressive's Preferred Players promotion is designed to highlight the growth opportunity that exists for Independent Agents in selling preferred private passenger auto insurance. Agent entries in the grand-prize drawing are based on eligible policies sold, in both weekly and regional contests. The winners drawn on Dec. 21 were chosen from 25 contest regions spanning the U.S.
Daniel R. Lewis, agent business unit leader for Progressive, said, "The breadth of this regional contest with 25 independent agent winners—from Wasilla, AK to Essex Junction, VT—speaks to the fact that Progressive is represented by more than 30,000 Independent Agents throughout the U.S. In those places and many thousands more, Progressive is the company providing growth opportunities for independent agents."
The agents, who participated in Progressive's Preferred Players Bowl promotion by selling eligible policies, will be going with guests to Super Bowl XXXIII in Miami. The award includes round-trip air transportation, hotel accommodations for four nights in Miami, two tickets to the Super Bowl, tickets to NFL Super Bowl parties, a VIP tour of the stadium and a preview of the Progressive Auto Insurance Super Bowl XXXIII Halftime Show.
The "Preferred Players" promotion designed exclusively for Progressive's Authorized Independent Agents runs from Oct. 1, 1998 through Jan. 31, 1999. All told, 39 Independent Agents will make the trip of a lifetime to Super Bowl XXXIII and more than 700 others will win prizes for selling Progressive's "Preferred" or "Ultra-Preferred" products.
