Transatlantic Re Elects Officers
At its regularly scheduled meeting, the Board of Directors of Transatlantic Reinsurance Company, a subsidiary of Transatlantic Holdings elected the following new officers:
Wilfred Witt - vice president in the company's general casualty area.
Michael Fokken - assistant vice president, handling special casualty-environmental
Eva Taylor - assistant vice president, London treaty, property
Victor Torres - assistant vice president, special casualty, A&H
Paula Sakevich – secretary. Sakevich is the company's human resources director
Mary Vitale – Secretary, New York property.
Transatlantic Reinsurance Company is a subsidiary of Transatlantic Holdings, which is an international reinsurance organization headquartered in New York, with operations also based in Chicago, Toronto, Miami (serving Latin America and the Caribbean), Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, London, Paris, Zurich, Warsaw, Johannesburg, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo.
Transatlantic Holdings is a public company that is 59 percent owned by AIG.
