Survey Gives Good Marks To Claims Estimating System

ADP says Socratic Technologies, a San Francisco-based market research firm, released the results of a 1998 survey that found exceptionally high satisfaction among insurance adjusters who use the PenPro collision estimating system.

PenPro, developed and distributed by ADP Claims Solutions Group (CSG), is a mobile collision estimating system that allows insurance adjusters to rapidly write, send and receive automated damaged vehicle estimates. It makes use of two features that were recently awarded a patent by the U.S. Patent Office.

According to Socratic's survey of 1,090 PenPro users in the United States and Canada, 93% are satisfied with PenPro performing all of the functions needed from an estimating system. In addition, 95% are satisfied with PenPro's ease of use and 96% are satisfied with the accuracy of estimates generated with PenPro.

Bill MacElroy, president of Socratic Technologies, reported that 97% of the insurance clients surveyed indicated they are satisfied that the PenPro customer support professionals demonstrate a responsive and positive attitude. More than 90% are satisfied with the service representatives' knowledge and ability, as well as their response time.
