Nucleus is a three-tier client server application that leverages existing investments in legacy systems while providing subrogation claims processing methodologies via a Java graphical user interface through standard web browsers and Internet network protocols.

The system utilizes Oracle Corporation's database and application server technology and Network Computing Architecture. All application logic and legacy systems' interfaces are consolidated on a professionally-managed server, while selected insureds or business partners can gain access to their relevant information through the Internet.

The product is designed to address the subrogation-specific workflow issues and includes business rules processing logic, which allows organizations to increase the number of claims handled, maximize recovery potential, and decrease cycle time.
