State Seeks Land Planning Consultant To Assist In Development Of Sale Plan For Future Of Former Harrisburg State Hospital Property

Harrisburg, PA /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ - State Department of General Services Secretary Curt Topper today announced the department is currently seeking the services of a land planning consultant to assist the commonwealth in the development of a sale plan for the DGS Annex property, formerly known as the Harrisburg State Hospital. "We want to ensure the process for determining the future of the DGS Annex is thorough and transparent," Topper said. "We are seeking the services of a land planning consultant to help identify recommendations for the sale of the property that are not only economically viable, but also mindful of the property's environmental and historical significance."
