SkillsTree, from Learning Tree International, evaluates all of an organization's employees' IT skills and creates an enterprise-wide skills inventory, for the individual, the department and the enterprise.

The SkillsTree database defines nearly 100 IT job roles and associates them with nearly 1000 unique tasks, specifying proficiency targets for exemplary performance in each role. It is administered to client employees through a computer-based, self-assessment survey, which is then analyzed by Learning Tree. The client organization receives a set of reports that highlight the organization's most significant needs.
