RMIS System
A risk manager can create his or her own risk management information system with this system by employing breakthrough "drilling"capabilities, and ad hoc reports and analyses. Drilling expands and refines information at greater levels of detail, thus allowing the risk manager to examine such information as claimant, type of loss, vendor, payee, or attorney. Results of created reports or their virtually unlimited selection criteria and filters may be saved to revisit or reuse later.
Other features include a datamart of casualty-related loss and exposure information; the ability to save and export data; pre-designed Microsoft Excel reports, graphs and pivot tables; an on-line graphing tool; and links to other pertinent web sites. The system also allows the exclusion of certain losses and has the ability to create ``what-if'' scenarios.
Customers can design tailored reports for reimbursable deductible programs; location-specific reports; and point-in-time, time comparison and loss triangulation reports. The annual fee for customer access to RMIS Dimensions varies based on the number of claims a customer has.
Customers with loss data from other sources can have their data made compatible with this system. Using a third-party fee-based service, this company integrates the other information and makes it accessible by RMIS Dimensions.
With a user password and click of a mouse, RMIS Dimensions is accessed through a special extranet site.
