RLI opens Los Angeles casualty office
RLI has opened a casualty branch office in Los Angeles, creating a coast to coast presence for the company in casualty service. The L.A. office will directly serve brokers in Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington.
"We've sought to match up each customer base geographically with service centers," said Stephen A. Lindell, RLI vice president of casualty/brokerage. "We can expect the new office to see a major flow of business."
Mark W. Parker, formerly of Alliance Insurance Services of Burbank, Calif., has become RLI's assistant vice president of casualty/brokerage in Los Angeles. Parker has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, beginning with the Reliance Insurance Company in Rochester, NY. He will be assisted by new RLI Casualty Brokerage Manager Jan L. Rosen who joins RLI from the Zurich-American Insurance Group in Schaumburg, Ill., and has extensive industry experience on the West Coast.
RLI Corp., through its subsidiaries RLI Insurance Company and Mt. Hawley Insurance Company, underwrites selected property and casualty insurance products.
