Richard H. Finn Named Senior Advisor to Transamerica's Chief Executive Officer

Richard H. Finn has been named Senior Advisor to Transamerica Corporation's Chief Executive Officer, Frank C. Herringer.

Finn, 63, has most recently been Executive Vice President in charge of Transamerica's leasing, tax service, reverse mortgage and senior housing operations, as well as several corporate staff functions. He has decided to scale back his operating and management responsibilities after 19 years with Transamerica. In his new role, he will be participating in special projects involving operational and strategic issues.

The operating units, which formerly reported to Finn, will now report to Robert A. Watson, executive vice president.
