Prudential Waives Deductible For Repeat Losses In Minnesota
Prudential Property and Casualty Insurance Company has announced that policyholders who have suffered losses from two recent storms in Minnesota may not be subject to a second deductible if the second loss is a broadening of substantially the same damages incurred during the first storm.
For the second time in weeks, storms have struck many of the same areas of Minnesota. Prudential policyholders who sustained damage during the storms of May 15/16 will not have to pay a second deductible if the same damages were made worse during the storms of May 30/31.
"Many of our policyholders affected by these storms have experienced substantial damage and financial hardship," said Jim McCarthy, Prudential's Field Claim Director for Minnesota. "By waiving the second deductible we hope to provide some additional relief, and help expedite the repair process."
To help homeowners get started with repairs as soon as possible, and get their lives back to order, Prudential has deployed additional Claims personnel to the affected areas.
Prudential policyholders can report claims by calling 1-800/437-3535, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
