Protection Mutual Acquires TSB Loss Control Consultants

Protection Mutual Insurance Company, a highly protected risk (HPR) underwriter, announced that it has acquired TSB Loss Control Consultants, Inc. of Rome, Ga.

TSB Loss Control specializes in industrial emergency response personnel training. Included in the acquisition is TSB's state-of-the art training center, located on 328 acres in Rome. The training center includes the TSB Burn Building in which real-life fire training scenarios are conducted. TSB trains fire brigades (incipient and structural), HAZ MAT response teams, confined space/high angle rescue teams, and inspection/maintenance personnel in the most effective methods of emergency response and hazardous material handling.

TSB Loss Control also provides infrared testing and surveys of electrical equipment, power distribution systems, furnaces, kilns, steam distribution systems and other industrial equipment to many leading industrial clients.

Curtis Doyle, founder and president of TSB will continue to oversee TSB's operations and report to the Board of Directors of Protection Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Protection Mutual Insurance Company. Doyle brings more than 20 years of experience in loss control and training to the organization.
