The Sant Corporation has introduced ProposalMaster 4.0, the latest version of its proposal automation system with two new components to add power and flexibility.

The ProposalMaster Library Builder asks users a few questions about their business and about how they sell. Based on the answers, it constructs a "proposal library" that perfectly matches the way they do business.

The second new component is the ProposalMaster Text Editor. Although every copy of ProposalMaster ships with sample text already in place, the Text Editor gives users a simple way to cut and paste or enter text that they want to use in the future. Users can put in all the text at one time, or add it incrementally as they use the system.

The heart of the ProposalMaster system remains its document building capability. With a simple point-and-click interface, it empowers users to create client-centered, customized documents without actually doing any writing. The savings in time and effort typically pay for the ProposalMaster system in a matter of a few weeks.

ProposalMaster 4.0 also includes four different templates, so the user can choose a "look" that best suits his or her company. And it creates a half dozen sales letters that can be used at various stages of the sales process, from setting up the initial meeting to saying "thank you" for the order.

Another feature of ProposalMaster 4.0 is its ability to "track" proposals. The ProposalTracker monitors sales activity by tracking the proposals issued, their likelihood of closing, their value, and other key information. It can produce reports based on a variety of criteria. Individual sales people or sales managers will both find the ProposalTracker capability extremely useful.
