Premium Comparison Monitor Software Now Includes Homeowners

N/Apany%> (ISO) says its Premium Comparison Monitor software now provides homeowners insurance analysis, in addition to the personal auto analysis it already included.

Premium Comparison Monitor is a PC-based personal lines comparative batch-rating software that provides quick and cost-effective competitive premium comparison analyses.

ISO says this enhancement further reinforces the products' position as the leader in the premium-comparison batch-rating software market, supporting both automobile and homeowners analyses countrywide with over 2,000 rating plans.

Further enhancements planned for third-quarter 1998 include the addition of six new states for auto and homeowners, which are Arizona, Connecticut, Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee and Washington. With the addition of auto and homeowners rating information for these states, Premium Comparison Monitor now covers 40 states for homeowners and 38 states for auto. The Premium Comparison Monitor includes more than 75 percent market share, on average, per state for both lines of business.

A ZIP code alternative to ISO's territory analysis was also recently added to the product. These latest enhancements, combined with the Monitor's report-writing capability and other analytical features, enable insurers to assess entry into new markets and bolster their competitive positions in existing markets.

ISO also provides actuarial and custom consulting services to complement the Premium Comparison Monitor's comparative rating analysis. The Premium Comparison Monitor was jointly developed by ISO and AMS Services, Inc., of Windsor, CT.
