Spectrum 2000 is a new policy designed to offer expanded protection options for a broader range of businesses. The carrier states that more than 700 types of business can be protected with the policy including high tech businesses; financial services providers; cultural organizations such as museums, art galleries, and libraries; professional, civic, and business associations; and book and local newspaper publishers.

The provider states that the policy also includes more than 25 new optional coverages. Examples include protection against theft by computer fraud, physical damage coverage for hired vehicles, and product recall and replacement coverage for manufacturers. The policy can also be economically expanded by selecting a package of popular optional coverages that provide protection tailored to specific industries such as business services, communications, technology, cultural organizations, law offices, medical offices, and printers. In addition, the policy offers expanded umbrella limits and coverages to meet the growing needs of small businesses, according to the provider.
