Poe& Brown expands with Arizona Acquisitions

Poe & Brown, Inc. has announced its acquisition of Thim Insurance Agency, Inc., of Tucson, Arizona and Heine-Miles Insurance, Inc., of Phoenix, Arizona. The acquisitions were both effective March 1, 1998. Mr. J. Hyatt Brown, Chairman, President and CEO of Poe & Brown, Inc. said that Charles LeSueur has also joined Poe & Brown's Phoenix office, bringing with him a large book of commercial business.

Ken Kirk, President of Poe & Brown of Arizona, commented, "The Thim Insurance Agency, which specializes in non-standard automobile insurance, will become part of Poe & Brown's recently acquired Arizona General Insurance Agency, in Tucson, while Heine-Miles Insurance will become part of our Phoenix operation. We are very pleased to have these two fine organizations join our rapidly expanding Southwestern operations. At the same time, we feel quite fortunate to have Charles LeSueur bring his talents and business to our expanding market presence."
