PIA, IBS Announce New "Agent to Agent" TV Show
The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents will co-produce a series of TV programs dealing with issues of concern to agents, which will air on Insurance Broadcast System, a satellite television network for the insurance industry.
PIA President Arthur I. Moll and IBS President and CEO Dennis N. Richard, each expressed the importance of a TV series that encourages dialogue on the most important issues to agents.
"Once again, PIA takes the lead in advancing the agenda of professional insurance agents," said Moll, one of the hosts of the new program, 'Agent to Agent'. "We will take our issues directly into the executive suites and boardrooms of carriers and industry groups in the United States and Bermuda."
"We take great pride in working with PIA on this very important series," said Richard. "These shows will present a balanced forum on the issues facing professional insurance agents today."
Initial topics to be discussed on 'Agent to Agent' include: efforts to enact financial services modernization while preserving state regulation of insurance sales; workers compensation; agency issues in Y2K conversion; marketing to minority communities; flood insurance; and improving agency-company relations.
Each PIA affiliate will receive a videotape copy of each program for its use.
