Pegasystems Announces PegaSURE, A Customer Relationship Management Solution For The Insurance Market

Pegasystems Inc., a provider of customer relationship management solutions, has announced the availability of PegaSURE, the Company's vertical solution for the insurance sector that automates customer service and sales processes in call centers, claim processing, and underwriting.

"One of the biggest challenges insurance companies face is managing the vast amount of data stored about their customers," said Dave Valovcin, Pegasystems' Director of Strategic Business Development. "Because the data is stored on multiple systems, accessing the data real-time during a customer call is extremely difficult. PegaSURE offers to the insurance sector an enterprise-wide solution to manage customer relationship information and automate business processes associated with customer interactions."

The PegaSURE solution connects customer information by linking accounts, relationships, beneficiaries, and agent details. This information is then displayed on a single, composite screen. PegaSURE handles the majority of core claims processing and underwriting functions based on flexible rules set up by an insurer.

Pegasystems is also expanding its insurance solution to provide Internet access to clients who want to submit claims, change their address, or review their bills on-line.
