PDA Software Appoints Sales Manager for FloodConnect

Terry Black has been named Sales Manager for FloodConnect and developer of FloodConnect.com, the online flood insurance administration system of PDA Software Services, FloodConnect's parent company. Black will be responsible for fostering relationships with insurance carriers and their agents in an effort to secure contracts for the site, which will offer browser-based quoting, writing and servicing of flood insurance business.

Black has more than 18 years of experience in insurance industry business development, sales, marketing, management, training, and software and operations consulting.

"Terry is a strong asset for FloodConnect," said Steve Hendrix, director of marketing for PDA. "His diverse industry experience and his numerous relationships with insurance carriers on a regional and national level bring tremendous value and leadership to our organization."

Prior to his appointment with FloodConnect, Black served as regional marketing manager for Crum and Forster Insurance, Kansas City, MO, where he was instrumental in the roll-out of its remote-user customer information management system and led the company's operational improvement and human resource efforts.

At Crum and Forster Insurance, Black also served as a regional loss control manager and supervisor. In addition, he held various consulting positions with United States Insurance Group and Floyd-West Insurance. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Safety from Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg, Missouri.
