On-Line Risk Management Programs

PHICOnet is a set of computer tools that permits healthcare risk managers to analyze professional liability and workers compensation trending and claim information. This system is comprised of four tools. MicroPerts is a microcomputer version of the software and helps clients to analyze incidents and spot potential problems areas or patterns. The Claims Status Inquiry (CSI) system allows clients to sort professional liability and workers compensation claim data, including reserve and payment information, on-line via a secure password-protected area. The third tool is an on-line loss run system that provides policyholders with access to loss runs and allows them to custom sort professional liability, workers compensation, and excess claim information. The fourth tool is on-line claims submission that eliminates administrative delays by allowing clients to report professional liability claims and notices.
