MTW Corporation Refocuses Method for Delivering Enterprise eBusiness
N/A, an eBusiness integration company with offices throughout the U.S., announced that they have refocused strategies surrounding their proprietary method for delivering component-based enterprise applications. The refocus includes an increased focus on eBusiness as well as adding distribution alternatives through key MTW partners.
Licensable for the past year as Progression, the method has received positive analyst, customer and partner attention for its ability to rapidly deliver information systems that, based on a component architecture, are technology independent and easy to modify as business needs change. As of February 1, 2000, the method will be available to customers as eProgression.
"During the past 10 months we had tremendous success with customers using Progression," said Andy Labrot, MTW Chief Technology Officer. "In almost every instance, the greatest successes have been in rapidly delivering eBusiness applications for our enterprise customers."
One of greatest benefits of the eProgression Method is the ability to rapidly deliver business application software that is deployable to any computing environment, including the Internet, distributed networks, and traditional Client/Server and Mainframe platforms. This is accomplished through MTW's unique architecture solution that maximizes the use of new and purchased components, existing "legacy" systems, and packaged back office applications.
"Our ability to combine existing technology, with new advanced software practices, allows us to deliver business solutions faster for the customer," says Labrot. "Our eProgressionTM projects reduce development cycles from years, to months or weeks, and allow the customer the flexibility to easily make system changes as business needs change.
Currently in use in global financial services organizations and within State governments, eProgressionTM provides specific steps or phases to help an organization architect system solutions to maximize functionality and minimize maintenance and cost.
