Damage Appraisal Program for Mobile Homes is a pre-emptive computer-based damage appraisal program designed to address the aspects of writing damage and repair estimates for mobile and manufactured homes.

The manufacturer states that the program provides organized inventories of parts and materials for most types of mobile home repairs including part name and description, manufacturer, manufacturer part number, information on where the part is available, dimensions, available colors, and line graphics. It also lists associated labor requirements and repair suggestions for each specific operation.

Administrative features allow multiple appraisers (with proper licenses) to write estimates and store in a common database. In addition, the program adapts to a business—whether a claims adjuster, a repair facility, or an independent adjusting company—using a detailed profile. The program organizes and stores information in lists that allow retrieval for repeated use, reducing the need to reenter information. Users are also able to keep and store repair shops, insurance companies, clients, and customers. In addition, free form narrative, comments, and instructions can be attached to the estimate. The program also includes form cover letters for personalized appraisals.

According to the manufacturer, program calculations are automatic and accurate, and can reduce leakage from math errors.

System requirements include a 486 or higher PC workstation, 16 MB RAM, 20 MB disk space, and Windows 95, 98, or NT 4.0 operating system.
