Millwright and Rigging Specialty Program

The Millwright and Rigging Specialty Program covers contractors who move or install capital equipment—such as storage silos, industrial process equipment and industrial conveyance equipment—with the aid of cranes, derricks, booms and other machinery.

CNA is the exclusive provider of third party loss-of-income coverage for millwrights and riggers. This coverage can be used in situations where the insured contractor damages equipment owned by the customers. The company also offers electrical distribution and testing coverage; the workers may test electrical systems after moving or installing equipment.

The program also provides unpaid expense reimbursement, which covers earned charges that are uncollected because the insured is now allowed to complete a job. Concrete construction rework expense is also covered.
