Miller Elected Kemper Re Chief Operating Officer

James R. Miller, president of Kemper Reinsurance Companies, has been elected to the additional post of chief operating officer. He was also elected to the positions of president and chief operating officer of Kemper Reinsurance Bermuda Limited; vice president of Kemper Reinsurance London Limited; and senior vice president of Kemper Europe Reassurances, S.A. Miller reports to Michael R. Pinter, Kemper Re chairman and chief executive officer.

Additionally, John Weedon, managing director, general manager and underwriter of Kemper Reinsurance London Limited, has been elected executive vice president of Kemper Reinsurance Company.

Jean Claude Gulpen, executive vice president and directeur adjoint of Kemper Europe Reassurances, S.A., has been elected senior vice president of Kemper Reinsurance Company and directeur general of Kemper Europe Reassurances, S.A.

David S. Brodnan, Kemper Re general counsel, has been elected general counsel of Kemper Reinsurance Bermuda Limited, Kemper Reinsurance London Limited and Kemper Europe Reassurances, S.A.

Carol K. Correia and William R. Jackson, Jr. who head Kemper Re's Stamford, Ct., casualty business and property business, respectively, have been elected executive vice presidents of Kemper Reinsurance Company.

Lee A. Brenner, formerly a Kemper Re vice president, and Lawrence P. Lochner and Joseph C. Scordato of Kemper Re's Stamford office have been elected senior vice presidents of Kemper Reinsurance Company.
