Louis J. Rampino Named President of Fremont Comp

Louis J. Rampino, president and chief operating officer of Fremont General Corporation, has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Fremont Compensation Insurance Group, Inc. According to a company news release, the change came when James Little resigned as president to spend more time with his family and to pursue other interests.

James A. McIntyre, chairman of the board and CEO of Fremont General Corporation, says, "With enthusiasm and excitement, Lou readily accepted the additional responsibilities as President of Fremont Comp. He is looking forward to working with the division's established management group, which has extraordinary depth, breadth and capacity." He adds that Rampino, "came up the organization through Fremont's insurance operation and has significant experience with an excellent record of success."
