Countrywide Insurance Group has formed a new company, DirectNet Insurance Agency, Inc., to help mortgage originators and other financial organizations provide broader insurance services to their customers. DirectNet offers a range of insurance products and services backed by the expertise of knowledgeable agents through a broad range of top-rated insurance carriers. Through DirectNet, which can be found online, banks, savings and loans and other financial service providers will gain access to insurance information, quotes, and insurance professionals quickly and efficiently, Countrywide says.
