KnowledgePoint Launches Online Employee Job Performance Application

KnowledgePoint has launched two Web browser-accessed applications, Descriptions Now Internet Edition and Performance Now Internet Edition, to help managers define jobs, write job descriptions and evaluate, manage and document employee performance. Users need only a Netscape or Microsoft Internet Explorer browser 3.0 or better and an Internet connection.

The software resides on KnowledgePoint's server and features all the advantages of Internet delivery: accessibility, multi-platform compatibility, ease of use and fast implementation.

Subscribing organizations get a unique URL for their password protected page and individual managers set themselves up as users with their own ID and password. The software will serve up all the components specific to their company including forms, logo and content.

"The cornerstone for effective performance management is regular feedback and good documentation" said Michael Troy, CEO, KnowledgePoint. "With an estimated 4 million corporate supervisors writing between one and ten performance reviews each year, KnowledgePoint's hosted applications will meet a definite market need for helping managers provide feedback and document performance."
