Kinloch Holdings Acquires Olympic Insurance Agency
New York, NY - New York-based Kinloch Holdings, Inc., an insurance brokerage holding company focusing on middle market clients, announced recently that it has acquired Olympic Insurance Agency, Inc., a New Jersey-based employee benefits and property & casualty agency.
The acquisition further strengthens Kinloch's hub in the New York metropolitan area where its holdings include: Genatt Associates – a New York broker with specialized expertise in the real estate, construction, transportation, healthcare and hospitality industries; Kinloch Partners – a risk management and insurance brokerage firm: and Kinloch Consulting Group – an employee benefits consulting firm for middle market employers.
Kinloch Holdings chief executive officer, Robert Lockhart sees the agency as a good strategic fit. "They share our focus on middle market accounts and commitment to market-leading client service. Olympic is well-regarded as a quality provider of employee benefits advisory services in the private sector."
The Olympic Agency was owned by New Jersey Senate President Richard J. Codey. Codey has sold all interests in the firm and will have no involvement in day to day business operations. He will be a consultant to Kinloch Holdings in the area of future mergers, acquisitions and client relations.
