Kemper National Services Picks CheckWorks
Prelude Software Inc., the premier designer of payment processing software tools and a leading provider to the insurance industry, announced today that Kemper National Services, a division of Kemper Insurance Companies, has chosen CheckWorks software to better manage and issue payments. The company estimates it will issue 10,000 to 15,000 payments per day through its medical bill review department.
CheckWorks will allow Kemper National Services to integrate payment information to produce a complete centralized database. Kemper National Services will also use the software as a customer relationship management (CRM) tool, which will enable the staff to access payment data at any time for queries, reporting, printing file copies, and manual input. CheckWorks will process all payments, print checks using MICR (magnetic ink character recognition) technology on blank safety stock, then export information back to the claims system.
