Kemper Environmental Products/Services Added to Kemper Re's KemperResource Program

Kemper Reinsurance Companies now includes the products and services of Kemper Environmental in KemperResource, a program in which Kemper Re customers can access a wide range of marketing, underwriting, educational and client servicing resources of Kemper Insurance Companies.

"Kemper Reinsurance Companies, through the KemperResource program, allows Kemper Re to provide more to its customers than capacity," says Jim Miller, president and COO of Kemper Reinsurance. "It allows our customers to enhance their own marketing position, making them more competitive which increases the value of their franchise. We are happy to add the experience and capabilities of Kemper Environmental to the KemperResource program."

Kemper Environmental was formed in July 1997 to serve as the environmental underwriting group for Kemper Insurance Companies. Kemper Environmental currently offers some of the highest environmental policy limits in the industry with $100 million occurrence/$200 million aggregate limits. They offer a number of products, which can address a company's environmental exposures. The environmental coverage can be written to coordinate with a general liability, surety, business auto, inland marine, or worker's compensation program. Kemper Environmental also has risk management, claim services, engineering and loss control programs designed to address environmental exposures.
