Integrated Disability Program

MetLifean integrated disability program created jointly by MetLife and Travelers, is designed to coordinate workers compensation and disability claims. The service integrates the two programs to facilitate productivity, efficiency and coordination in the management of claims.

According to the service providers, the program is beneficial to both employers and employees. Employees receive fast response, timely payment of claims, and the support of a national team of nurse case workers and return-to-work specialists. Employers do not have to deal with the duplication of services.

Features of the program include co-located claims management medical teams that manage employee care, and customer access to five regional centers handling only this program's claims.
