InsWeb Teams Up With Chinese Cyber City

InsWeb and Chinese Cyber City, a Chinese-language Website, announced an agreement today to provide insurance shopping services at Chinese Cyber City's new Insurance Center.

The agreement enables Chinese-speaking consumers visiting Chinese Cyber City to obtain quotes and select coverage for auto, homeowners, and term life insurance from carriers such as State Farm, CNA, Nationwide and John Hancock.

"InsWeb's alliance with Chinese Cyber City helps consumers get a better value for their insurance," said Paul Weiskopf, InsWeb's senior vice president of Strategic Partnerships. "We're proud to join with Chinese Cyber City as it continues to enhance its service to the Chinese community by offering a full range of financial services products."

The co-branded Insurance Center is available at Chinese Cyber City's home page and its finance channel. Chinese Cyber City users will also have access to InsWeb's insurance information, such as its library of frequently asked questions and a description of online shopping for insurance. Both will be presented in Chinese.
