INSpire, GeoVera Sign Licensing Agreement

N/Apany%> says it has signed a new licensing contract to provide its Policy and Claims Administration (PCA) software system to GeoVera Insurance Co., of Concord, CA. GeoVera selected PCA to process residential earthquake insurance policies. GeoVera is a subsidiary of USF&G, which recently merged with The St. Paul.

GeoVera introduced their residential earthquake program in October 1997. The program offers two products, a comprehensive product and a standard one, which are designed for California homeowners. The company has implemented INSpire's PCA system for earthquake policy administration, billing and collections, financial administration and management reporting.

"This is an important move for us," said Karen Padovese, president of GeoVera Insurance Company. "INSpire's system capabilities and product support allow GeoVera to adapt the system to better serve customers and focus on the development of our specialized earthquake coverage."

"We are delighted the team at GeoVera selected our PCA - AS/400 solution," said Bill Smith, president and chief operations officer, INSpire Insurance Solutions. "We are confident INSpire can support GeoVera's growth plans."
