Innovus Appoints Steffen as COO

Innovus Integrated Benefit Services LLC has appointed Beverly Steffen, former InsWeb CFO, as chief operating officer. Steffen will be directly responsible for Innovus' finance and accounting; coordinated care, claims and safety; human resources and administration; underwriting processing and information technology.

Steffen joins Innovus with extensive operations experience in the insurance, technology and financial services industries. She has been involved with several successful startup companies, providing strategic direction and financial and administrative management.

Prior to InsWeb, Steffen was CFO for HIH America Compensation Liability Insurance Company and controller for HL Capital Management Corporation, both in San Francisco.
