A new video from Factory Mutual has been designed to educate contractors and staff across an organization on how to prevent fires resulting from hot work. The video is applicable to any industry where welding, grinding, cutting, use of open flames or related activities may occur on a temporary or regular basis.

The video features FM experts from around the world. Among other things, they highlight how individuals can prevent hot work losses, identify the many forms of hot work, and explain how to take precautions, establish a corporate hot work policy, and implement a hot work permit system.
