Venture Programshester, PA-based Harvey Insurance Group has brought together its wholesale insurance programs under a new name, <%=company%>. Harvey created its first program, The Preferred Club Program, six years ago, and it now provides insurance products and risk management services to more than 500 golf and country clubs in North America.

Venture Programs also administers The Preferred Hospitality Program, The Preferred Employment Services Program, The Preferred Social Service Program, The Preferred Utilities Program, and The Preferred Life Sciences Program. These programs are available exclusively through insurance agents and brokers.

"We expect the new Venture Programs name to help the brokerage community understand who we are and all the ways we can help agencies compete," said Philip Harvey, managing director of Venture Programs.

In addition to these programs, Venture Programs will market its program design, development and administration services to insurance agencies who have a specific book of business and wish to capitalize on the company's expertise by developing their own private-label industry program.

"We have worked with niche markets since 1993, so we can help other agencies avoid potential pitfalls that accompany creating industry programs directly with insurance carriers," Harvey said. "Venture Programs helps structure quality, private label programs on behalf of agents and brokers."
