GAB Robins is one of the leading companies to provide insurance claims management services globally. We have more than 4,000 employees at 730 locations in 43 countries. Our core service is providing independent loss adjustments for property, casualty and workers' compensation claims. These claims can involve a wide range of exposures from uncomplicated personal claims to complex commercial and multi-layer product liability losses. We also handle emergencies and catastrophes – natural or manmade – anywhere in the world.

Our Loss Adjusting and Investigative Services provide global loss adjusting and catastrophe response services to insurance companies and other risk carriers, including self-insured entities and captive insurance companies. These include a direct repair contracting product, ptc-NET, and a wide range of specialty services that are targeted to industries such as: Trucking and Heavy Equipment, Agribusiness, Cargo and Transit, Aviation, and Marine, Inland and Ocean. Our Engineering and Fire Investigation Services (EFI) subsidiary, another specialty service, provides a broad range of fire, loss, failure and forensic analyses, as well as solutions to manage environmental and marine risk and control clean-up costs.

GAB Robins Third-Party Administration provides claims administration and fraud services for self-insured entities in all industries. Each year we process via telephone and IT systems approximately $1 billion worth of claims for workers' compensation, auto and general liability and property. For workers' compensation claims, we evaluate the coverage and recommend equitable settlements. For auto and general liability claims, we determine the extent of the damage caused by an accident and recommend an appropriate settlement.

MedInsights, our managed care subsidiary, provides medical cost savings services for insurers and self-insured entities that have workers' compensation and other injury claims. Using centralized reporting, early intervention and a national network of offices, telephonic case managers and field nurses, MedInsights monitors and manages an injured person's recovery to ensure quick and proper treatment and a prompt return to work. These services can also include medical bill review and ROI reports to help further control costs.
