Spyder is a predictive software solution used to combat healthcare fraud and abuse.

The program assesses fraud risk based upon hundreds or thousands of different aspects of provider, recipient and provider-group behavior. By periodically adding new claims data to its detection models, the system actually learns the new patterns of fraud and abuse that develop.

The Spyder product family consists of the following components

• Spyder detection models and rules
• Deployment Engine to enable customers to establish a regular scoring cycle
• Analysis WebStation which allows users to review suspects along with summary reports and detailed claims data
• Case Management Module to track cases as they are being investigated and prepared for final disposition
