Foley, Harris New Principals at Deloitte & Touche Insurance Group

N/Ae & Touche LLP has announced that David Foley and Carl Harris were admitted to the firm partnership as principals with its Actuarial & Insurance Consulting Group.

Foley has been with the firm since 1993. He is a casualty actuarial and risk management consultant specializing in pricing, reserving, mergers and acquisitions, reinsurance, and financial examinations. He has over 18 years of experience providing consulting services to a wide range of clients, including excess and surplus line insurers, multi-line insurers, reinsurers, self-insured corporate entities and public entities. He is a Fellow of the <%=company%> (FCAS) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).

Harris has more than 19 years of experience as a life actuary providing a broad range of financial, product development, and strategic support to insurance companies. Prior to joining Deloitte & Touche, Harris was a principal with Carl M. Harris & Associates, an actuarial consulting firm he founded in Des Moines. He has also held actuarial positions with several major life insurers in the Midwest and South. Harris is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and an MAAA. He holds a BS in Clinical Psychology from the University of Florida.
