Faxsav Introduces Virtual Fax Server

FaxSav has launched its second generation of software products and services which complete their functional and accountable Internet faxing solution for PC users.

FaxSav's new FaxCourier service allows users to receive their faxes to email and FaxLauncher Pro software allows them to fax documents from any PC through the Internet to any fax machine in the world. The combination enables customers, ranging from global enterprises with thousands of users to the individual road warrior, to communicate via fax with the ease and convenience of email. The FaxSav Global Internet Fax Network offers full accountability for the receipt and delivery of faxes.

FaxCourier enables customers to route faxes straight to their email address. A local or toll-free fax number in the FaxSav Network is allocated to the user. All faxes sent to these numbers are automatically converted to a standard TIFF file format and forwarded as attachments to email to the customer's email address. Users can view or print their faxes using standard, freely available TIFF viewing software.

FaxLauncher Pro is an outbound Internet faxing solution that lets users faxes straight from their PCs, desktops or laptops, avoiding the need to print out the document and send it from a traditional fax machine or install and use other fax hardware such as modems or fax servers. FaxLauncher Pro offers customers several key features including custom cover pages, account code support, real-time fax status checking, off-line queuing, and management of sent faxes.

Headquartered in Edison, NJ, FaxSav deploys a global Internet-based network of nodes that enables it to bypass long-distance carrier networks when sending faxes to or from international areas serviced by these nodes. FaxSav's network currently consists of three network installations in the US and Internet nodes in 20 countries.
