Factory Mutual Research Corp. Releases 1998 Approval Guide Listing

Factory Mutual Research Corporation (FMRC) has just released its 1998 Approval Guide on CD-ROM that comprises over 45,000 listings of equipment, materials and services approved by the Corporation and related to property loss prevention.

Many architects, engineers and plant managers use the Approval Guide as a resource to certify the reliability of a product or service. FMRC's testing services also provide manufacturers and their clientele with the reassurance that a product's performance has met FMRC's guidelines and standards and/or the demands of customers and regulatory agencies.

The new CD-ROM contains all of the contents of the three paperback volumes of the Approval Guide, which cover Fire Protection, Electrical Equipment and Building Materials, as well as technical information on the application of approved products and a listing of international product testing laboratories with whom FMRC has reciprocal agreements.
