ExpressJet Airlines Awards CyberShift Workforce Management Contract
Leading Provider of Workforce Management Software and Services to Give Airline Real-Time View of Time and Attendance
Parsippany, NJ - CyberShift, a provider of workforce management software and services, announced that ExpressJet Airlines has selected the company's Workforce Management 3G Time and Attendance software solution to optimize the deployment of the airline's workforce.
Houston-based ExpressJet operates a fleet of 269 Embraer regional jets as Continental Express to more than 150 destinations in North America, Central America and the Caribbean. With a workforce of approximately 6,800 employees, ExpressJet sought a comprehensive solution that could handle the requirements of both hourly and salaried workers as well as interact with the company's existing systems. After evaluating several vendors, ExpressJet chose CyberShift for its leading-edge technology and product architecture.
"In order to ensure our employee base is properly deployed, it is important that we move away from our manual processes to a solution that will give us a real-time view of the workforce," said Mike Flansburg, Senior Director of Technology at ExpressJet Airlines. "Increasing the accuracy and speed of our time and attendance reporting allows us to better organize our workforce while controlling costs."
CyberShift's Workforce Management 3G Time and Attendance software solution simplifies the daily time management activities of all employees while providing real-time, rather than end-of-day or end-of-week, views into the workforce. The solution fully automates pay, work and accrual rules, as well as leave management, union contracts and exception time reporting. The scalable Time and Attendance software is able to seamlessly integrate with ExpressJet's third-party applications to transfer data to and from the company's HR systems.
"Organizations are seeking real-time, actionable insight into all aspects of their business, making Web-based workforce management solutions critical to this effort," said Robert E. Farina, CEO of CyberShift. "After a thorough evaluation, ExpressJet selected our leading-edge technology to gain visibility into the utilization of their workforce while controlling costs. We welcome ExpressJet as a CyberShift client and are looking forward to helping them manage and deploy their most valuable asset, their employees."
