Equipment Exposure Software

In an effort to provide access to practical and up-to-date information on equipment exposures, The Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company (HSB) is introducing the HSB Equipment Connection¨ software version 2.0. The HSB Equipment Connection was designed to help HSB agents, brokers, reinsured companies and underwriters better understand their customers' businesses and their equipment breakdown coverage needs. The software contains major equipment exposure data by class of business, interactive illustrations of equipment and processes used in typical businesses, loss examples and a state-by-state guide to inspection requirements.

Agents who need to find equipment-specific information on shopping center risks can simply "point and click" the desired equipment (air conditioning, electrical system, etc.) to receive information and typical loss examples. In addition, agents and underwriters can receive expanded, illustrative information on each business operation, their equipment and past losses.
