Environmental Insurance Underwriting Program

The Q&E Progam provides an insurance package for small environmental consulting and contracting firms that is designed to deliver quick turnaround of insurance quotes along with comprehensive coverage, an easier application process, and underwriting experience. The program features the company's Underwriting Pollution Protection Package, which combines General Liability, Professional Liability, and Contractor's Pollution Legal Liability (CPL) coverages under one liability. The CPL and General Liability coverages are available on either the claims-made or occurrence form. Policies have limits of liability ranging from $500,000 to $5 million, with multi-year policies also available.

A six-question checklist is available on the company's website to assist agents and brokers in determining if the pollution protection policy is appropriate for their environmental service firm clients. If the client is qualified upon completion of the checklist, the broker can complete an application online. Clients of this insurance program also have available to them risk control and claims administration services provided through company affiliates. Other services, varying in cost, include employee health and safety training, environmental auditing, mock OSHA audits, emergency response planning and claims management.
