Kemper Environmental has increased its individual policy limits to $100 million per occurrence and $200 million aggregate. The company says these new limits are the highest in the environmental insurance industry.

The limits have been increased in line with a continued increase in the demand for additional capacity from the marketplace, particularly in the areas of project policies and mergers/acquisitions and divestitures.

Kemper Environmental's offerings cover a broad range of environmental risks, including exposures related to the ownership and operation of facilities, property transfer and financial transactions, contractors pollution liability, professional liability, general liability and auto liability.

Specific underwriting business segments at Kemper Environmental include: industrial facilities and risk management accounts; commercial and real estate markets; construction and consulting operations; surety; and special group programs.
