Employee Solutions Rolls Out Pre-Employment Background Verification Program
Employee Solutions, Inc., a professional employer organization, says it has implemented a program that "will make it easier for ESI clients to hire the right person for the job."
A new pre-employment background checks program from ESI can be used during the hiring process to provide client companies with background information on job applicants. Background checks are becoming more prevalent, as employers strive to reduce their human resource costs and avoid negligent-hiring suits.
"Matching an applicant's skills and previous experience to an employer's needs is critical in today's tight labor market," says Mark J. Gambill, ESI senior vice president of sales and marketing. "When a company makes an informed hiring decision, it can reduce turnover, and improve its business and productivity. ESI's Pre-Employment Background Checks program will give our clients a tool for hiring only the best, most qualified employees."
With the Pre-Employment Background Checks program, employers have several screening options, including driver's license records, felony convictions and outstanding warrants, credit reporting, as well as verification of college degree, social security number, professional licenses and previous employment. The program's individual options menu allows employers to customize their searches, and all search results are secure and confidential. ESI Business Development Manager, Mitch Willett, says the Pre-Employment Background Checks program has gotten great reviews in test marketing, and is available beginning today to ESI's entire client base.
