DocuCorp and Policy Management Systems Corporation Sign 10-Year Marketing Agreement
Documentation automation company DocuCorp International has signed a 10-year OEM marketing agreement with insurance software giant Policy Management Systems Corporation. The companies say the deal "adds significant value to software and service offerings and will expand product offerings and heighten customer support for mutual clients, both existing and prospective.
According to the terms of the agreement, PMSC and its affiliates will market all DocuCorp document automation software products on a non-exclusive basis to insurance and financial services companies worldwide.
For the past eight years, PMSC has marketed Document Automation Platform software developed by FormMaker Software, a DocuCorp subsidiary. The new alliance replaces and expands the previous marketing agreement.
Michael D. Andereck, DocuCorp's president and chief executive officer, says, ``PMSC is the leading provider of software and services to the global insurance and financial services industries, and DocuCorp is the dominant provider of document automation software and services to the insurance industry. The new alliance is good for DocuCorp, for PMSC, for our many mutual customers, and for the insurance and financial services industries.''
``We have had a long and successful history with FormMaker and we're looking forward to building on this strategic relationship that we have now established with DocuCorp,'' says David T. Bailey, executive vice president of PMSC. ``The expanded product line and common customer base make this a natural and synergistic relationship for the benefit of all our customers.''
