Delphi Names Raina As Chief Operations Officer

Delphi Information Systems, Inc. has promoted Robin Raina, senior vice president, to chief operations officer. He will oversee Delphi's sales, services, support, professional services and marketing areas both internationally and domestically for the property and casualty insurance market.

"Robin's promotion to chief operations officer is in recognition of his strong leadership skills and contributions to Delphi," said Max Seybold, Delphi's president and CEO. "His management of Delphi's support organization has resulted in a dramatic improvement of our customer support division, as well as increasing customer satisfaction."

Raina says, "I acknowledge the progress Delphi has made, but I am far from satisfied. I firmly believe that the only obstacle to meeting any challenge is contentment. Fortunately, we've been able to rally together a team with an insatiable appetite for achievement. We're somewhat pleased about pulling together and turning things around ahead of schedule, but our success is only a fraction of our hunger."

Raina joined Delphi in late 1997 as vice president-professional services operations. Prior to that, he was with Mindware/BPR, an international solutions consulting firm. The projects Raina managed included global-scale system implementations for large, multi-national corporations, setting up offshore laboratories, building intranets, providing custom programming, and managing service bureaus and support centers.

He holds an Industrial Engineering degree from Thapar University in Punjab, India.
